Bachelorette Party

We loved our stay at Garnerland. We were welcomed with a jar of fresh baked cookies! We had 5 ladies, the bed arrangement was perfect for us. The house was very clean and beautiful. The shower is HUGE. The master bed is SO comfortable. They had everything you could need for the kitchen and bath (utensils, towels, etc.). It was nice having access to the screened in deck; we played card games out there at night with the nice Fall air. We had easy access to nearby wineries, using the Virginia Wine Pass (highly recommended). We also went rafting down the Shenandoah River at Shenandoah River Outfitters (about 20 mins away). I'd highly recommend getting out and swimming in the river. We had fun and might come back separately in the future.

Booked stay as surprise for family

Don the owner really helped me out with booking the stay for my brother and sis-in-law as their surprise wedding gift. They said they really liked the cabin and location and want to go back and take the kids with them. It seemed like it was a pretty drive to the cabin and my family found it really easy to get to the cabin. My sis-in-law said the cabin was really pretty and when she face timed me and showed me around the cabin it looked pretty much like all the pictures I had seen online.

Wonderfully relaxing stay

We had a great time at GarnerLand. The handwritten welcome notes made us feel right at home and the plate of welcome cookies was such a nice touch (and delicious!). The home is beautiful and we really enjoyed the deck and use of the backyard firepit. We had a wonderful stay!

Amazing Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Garnerland! My husband and I were in Luray for an event with our dog that was held nearby and this was the perfect location. The house had a lot of space, but still felt cozy and welcoming. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. This place had everything we possible could have wanted or needed and the whole house and grounds are just beautiful. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to health issues, but my husband and I both said that we absolutely want to come back - it's the perfect getaway! Thank you to Don and BJ for being so kind and welcoming. Hope to see you again soon!

Great weekend getaway!

My wife and I went out to this cabin with our dogs for a weekend getaway. We were able to enjoy both the Shanendoah as well as the Massanutten mountain range. The cabin is located in ideal place that is within an hour of more than 20 great hikes. My parents joined us and there was plenty of room for all six of us. The only thing that my wife did not like was the well water.

The property is just as it is pictured, absolutely beautiful!

My husband, children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Garnerland. The house and grounds were beautiful, it was peaceful and Don and BJ were very welcoming. It really was a home away from home. Their home is very close to Luray Caverns and many other areas of interest. We enjoyed talking with Don and BJ and meeting their fur babies. We will definitely be going back.

Wonderful getaway!

This was such a wonderful place to stay! Upon arrival we enjoyed lovely scenery, a warm welcome from Don and BJ (owners), their sweet doggies and homemade cookies. The cabin is well stocked and clean. You can’t beat the scenery! Highly recommended! Thank you! - The Custer Family

Ultimate Relaxation Getaway

We LOVED our stay at Garnerland. For a couple with 2 kids who live in a fast-paced environment, this was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet weekend getaway. Don and BJ were very kind and attentive to our needs and comfort. We will absolutely be visiting again!

A perfect road trip respite....

This is my first experience with VRBO but it certainly met our needs. It provided us with a nice alternative to hotel rooms on our Virginia road trip. As good as a hotel room is or isn't, the cabin in Luray provided that home away from home feel. I hope to stay again sometime but only longer, as there is plenty to see and do in the Luray area. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch and spaciousness of the rental. Thanks Don for a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Quit place to relax!

Don was very knowledgeable of the area. It was a pleasure meeting him. It's a quit place to plan a getaway. His home was very comfortable and we will definitely be back for a visit.
