Perfect Retreat: Home Away from Home

The cabin was very clean, cutely decorated,
nicely located on the lake and within a short distance of the state park. Its charm made us feel like home. We loved the fact that we could rent watercraft from the marina and enjoy the lake, though the water had receded (only because of cautions related to the hurricane) making the dock access an issue. We easily headed to the marina and kayaked for half the day and then spent time at the beach at Claytor Lake State Park.

This cabin is really homey and just what we needed for a relaxing get away!

Fabulous Get Away

Exceptional experience at a wonderfully situated property. Can't say enough good things. Great amenities, comfortable, clean and Trina was warm and responsive. We spent time hiking, riding the New River trail and exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Perfect couples weekend!

We loved our weekend at the Cabin at the Cove. The cabin was just the right size for the four of us. There is plenty of space to be together and also have great conversations on the decks or on the comfy furniture. The views are wonderful and are visible from every angle. Highly recommended!

A Perfect Getaway

Cabin at the Cove is a beautiful property! It was secluded, and had great access to the lake. The host was wonderful and was available for questions about the cabin and the area. The cabin was spotless and had many special touches, (games, corn hole, mini pool table and dark board.) that we enjoyed. I highly recommend kayak/boat rentals from Mountain 2 Island. They delivered and picked up - doesn't get much easier.
I would highly recommend this wonderful Cabin for relaxation and fun.

Great stay!

We spent the weekend visiting with my Virginia Tech student at this house. The house is beautiful and quiet. It is well stocked with everything you need to have a great visit. We enjoyed playing in the gameroom and playing board games. We rented kayaks and had them delivered to the dock and was able to enjoy a beautiful fall weekend on the lake. I highly recommend this property. The owner was very accommodating and I have only positive things to say about our experience.

Little dream cottage

This lovely log cabin home is so adorable and the location so beautiful that we’re placing it at the top of our list for places to stay when we’re in the area. Our hostess, Trina was just as amazing as the house. Perfect communication and very accommodating. Our stay was perfect!

Little piece of heaven

We recently stayed here while in town for a VA Tech game and visiting my son. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and clean as a whistle. We had a blast fishing, grilling out, and playing corn hole. The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed having our coffee on the deck every morning. Thank you for allowing us early check in and late check out. We simply can’t wait to return for another wonderful and relaxing weekend.

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin is a beautiful and very quiet place to stay. Just spent the weekend but enjoyed every minute of it. The cabin was very spacious and absolutely immaculate. Spoke with Trina a couple of times and always very nice and helpful. All around very nice and enjoyable weekend. Thanks , Trina
