Fun time at "Fiddlers" with good music and family

A family reunion of sorts. We stayed during the Fiddlers Convention. If you've never been, you should go! My family was originally from the area and I went with a group of my siblings and their spouses. My uncle and aunt also accompanied us. My uncle, at 88 years old provided a guided tour of the area with lots of fond memories of his childhood in Galax. The house was just what we wanted. Plenty of room to visit and reminisce with the family. The house is clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. You definitely feel a part of Galax and the community. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting for the Fiddlers or just a nice get away in the mountains.

Cozy Farmhouse In The Country

We enjoyed our stay at Day's To Remember At Granny's.
The rooms are spacious and cozy. The farmhouse has many nice amenities, beautiful quilts and throws, pretty pictures on the walls, pretty dishes, and lovely vintage furnishings. Plus some nice current amenities, like the Keurig coffee maker and dishwasher. The home is peaceful and quiet with awesome views of the surrounding farms that have horses and cows.
The location is a short drive to many excellent cafe's and restaurants. We liked Scoot's, Mountain Surf Seafood, Creekside Cafe, The Dutch Oven in Hillsville, Miller's in Woodlawn, Aunt Bea's, and the curbside wait service of the Tastee Freeze just up the road. Horton's Grocery is a very short drive away, too.
Rebecca was so very helpful and answered all my questions quickly and did everything she could to try and make our stay very comfortable.

Just a great place to stay!

Everything was just super.we were riding motorcycles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house is only 4 miles to the exit to parkway. Just a great view of mountains and close to town. We would not mind coming back again. Super nice owners will do anything to help you with your vist.
