Didn't get much use of top two decks. Too busy on the water! Two grandparents, son and daughter-in-law, Bryce who is 6 and 2 year old Callie. We loved the carpeted step. Callie perfected her jump. The slide was the best. Caught countless fish + 3 catfish one of which was somewhere between 14-18 inches. Almost broke the line! Doesn't get much better. My son and husband loved the grill. What a week. Didn't have to go anywhere for fun, but we did go hiking at the park and a kid-friendly activity at the nature center. Oh, and all-you-can-eat crabs at Tim's! With ice cream for dessert!
Couldn't have been better. Peace and happiness!

We've had a great week at the lake! This was a wonderful place to bring our families. The six kids had a blast swimming - the steps/dock make a perfect place to swim, the slide was a hit and they held countless jump/dive contests from the dock. The cove was a perfect place to launch kayaks and the kids caught so many fish! Everyone slept comfortable after fun-filled days. The many sweet touches we found upon our arrival (floats, candy, wine, snacks!!) made us feel like family. We didn't even need to spend time exploring the surrounding area - the house was all we needed for a great trip. Thank you!

We have been vacationing at Lake Anna since 2009. Noticed that Kindred Spirits had fantastic reviews the first couple of yrs we were going but always booked up the wks we could go. Our 3rd yr at the lake, we were lucky enough to be able to book a wk at this lovely home!! We have now spent all our lake vacations at this home and couldn't be happier!! Randy and Donna make the house feel like you are at "home". Really don't need to bring more than food, as the kitchen has everything you might need. Linens and more provided, which always make vacation feel like a vacation. Their location on a quiet, private no wake cove makes enjoying the dock area even better for an afternoon of relaxing by the lake.

We have rented this property 3 times now and have never been disappointed!
The house is always spotless and the cove is perfect. The owners are wonderful to work with also. Our kids love it too! We would definitely recommend this home!

This home was very clean when we arrived, with so many nice touches -
Landscaping, flowers at the door, welcome gifts/snacks, etc; we fell in love with it as we walked through the door! And then the view from the decks and bedrooms - awesome!
The owners are so pleasant, friendly, and easy to work with; they answered every question we had on- line promptly and with lots of information. We now consider them our friends!
We had three generations staying at the home, and there was lots of room for everyone. It was so nice that all 8 of us could fit comfortably around the dining room table - for meals and playing games. The 2 yr. old and 5 yr. old loved the new slide and the awesome beach; we ALL loved swimming in the cove. The new shower at the dock/beach was so nice to rinse the kids off before heading up the steps.
We brought our 23' ski boat with us, and all of us agree that Lake Anna is the best lake yet - after searching for several summers to find one that "fits" our family - this home and lake is a winner! Lots of nice calm water for skiing, tubing, etc. The dock, its location, and water depth was great for docking our boat; the hanging chairs were sooooo comfy!
It was really nice to have the beds made when we arrived; I appreciated having a washer/dryer to use, and paper supplies to get our vacation started. And we loved the air conditioning!
We can't wait to go back in 2008!

What a vacation! We found this place by chance through your website and we were so excited when we saw the pictures, hoping it would be just as great in person. Boy were we happy when we actually got there. The view of the lake is spectacular and the home is definitely stocked so you don't have to worry about forgetting anything. It was a short distance from our home in Northern Virginia so having the opportunity to share it with friends and family made the vacation that much better for everyone in the family. We were able to make lots of memories there from swimming, fishing, reading on the dock, making smores in the fire pit, and just hanging out looking at the view and watching all the boats go by. We will definitely be recommending this rental home to friends and family!
