This is a remarkable property run by a wonderful, attentive landlady! It s historic and quite old so some minor issues arose which are to be expected with a property of this vintage. Would recommend without reservation!!

Our daughter's wedding weekend was made extra-special by the warm hospitality of Rhonda and Bill, and their beautiful home at North Point. The beds were comfortable, all necessities and more available, and the setting couldn't be more beautiful. We had a house-full, yet were very comfortable. Wish we could have sat on the porch, looking at the river, and resting for three more days!

Being at Northpoint farm is like stepping back into another era. The elegant plantation house and beautiful Mattaponi River were the perfect setting for our family reunion weekend. Rhonda was a gracious host and made certain that all of our needs were met, she even set us up with the caterer, who delivered a delicious Southern Barbeque feast!

We hosted a 12 person family birthday weekend here and had an amazing time. The house is absolutely incredible; it is so rare to find such a beautiful, special place to stay for so many people. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there's a great grill, so making meals for that many people was a cinch. Rhonda was super responsive to all of my questions going into the weekend, and she was an amazing hostess. We can't wait to come back and make this a family tradition!
