Great Cottage That’s Close to Many Activities

We had a very relaxing stay at the cottage. Very peaceful and quiet setting with plenty of bird watching on the back deck.
The cottage was comfortable, clean and well stocked in the kitchen.

This cottage is perfect if you're looking to get away from it all in a comfortable, cozy, well-appointed home. It really has everything you might need in terms of kitchenware, cutlery, cutting boards, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, laundry detergent, spices, etc. If you need it, it's probably there in the cottage saving you a trip to the grocery store.
You also have easy access to all of the local restaurants, breweries, and wineries. Your options in this area are plentiful. There are at least 10 wonderful options within a 10 mile radius.
The owner of the cottage lives a stone's throw from the cottage and is very responsive if any issues arise and a very nice gent for having a chat.
For being out in the country, the internet provided at the cottage is very good.

My family spent a wonderful long weekend here skiing and hiking. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. I was pleased the queen bed was nicely firm with no hole in the center. I slept well and awoke to see a cardinal outside my window each morning. We also saw a possum and pack of fox. The cabin was beautiful even in mid-February. I can see would be beautiful in every season.

This was a perfect place to spend the Christmas holiday. Plenty of room to cook, play board games, relax and enjoy ourselves. Great hiking close by. There are plenty of things to do in the area if you really want to leave the property.

We stayed for a week in this cozy cottage tucked away in the coutryside. There is a nice deck to view the woods on the back and it feels like you are in a treehouse when looking at the view. The cottage was nicely furnished and welcoming and on a road with beautiful farms and homes. We had deer in the yard when we came home one evening and saw many others in the woodlands nearby. The cottage is conveniently located between Charlottesville and Skyline drive so we were able to visit several President's homes, spend time on the parkway, and also visit several wineries nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

House was neat and clean with great fall decorations. Everything basic needed was included including items in kitchen and cold pint glasses in freezer. Owner was quick to respond to any questions leading up to and during stay. We are already planning on returning.

Very convenient to the Blue Ridge parkway, wineries, breweries and eclectic country stores. Every turn in the road(s) leading to this cottage has stunning views of the mountains. Located in a beautiful wooded setting with a cosy lounge area inside and the beds are comfortable. The back elevated deck was a perfect place to have early morning coffee. Would absolutely stay here again!
