What a gem of a cabin! Nice, quiet location and we loved taking our coffee while we watched the lake—lots of wildlife to observe. The cabin was very private and a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle, but it was close enough to Colonial Beach that you can easily grab a bite to eat or take a stroll on the shore (Westmoreland Park is also right down the road and made for a great day-trip). The cabin itself is nice and clean, with plenty of fluffy towels and cooking tools if you want to just stay in for the weekend. It’s adorably decorated and gets lots of natural light through it’s huge, gorgeous windows, making it just a pleasant place to hang out. We felt like we struck gold finding this spot and will definitely be back!
