Two Story Farm House. Sleeps 8 in 4 Bedrooms,(1 queen and 3 doubles); 2 baths (1 w/shower and 1 w/tub).
Large eat-in fully furnished kitchen (stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher); washer and dryer; Sunroom; dining room; large living room with satellite TV, DVD, books and movies.
Large yard with picnic table and gas grill under chestnut trees; area for badminton or volleyball net or croquet game; small garage; parking and easy entry and exit from driveway onto Route 89S.
Bed linens and towels are furnished. Iron and board; start up supplies of paper products (towels, TP) and laundry soap. Grocery stores are nearby for any additional products you may need.

A Place to Remember at Granny's has nostalgia written all over it! The layout of the home, the decor, and the country setting bring you back to days gone by. There is plenty of room for guests, and a spacious kitchen for cooking and dining. It is in a very quiet, rural setting, and very close to stores and restaurants. We have a large family and would definitely stay again!

A visit to the Fiddlers convention and hometown
It is only one mile from one of my sisters and 3 miles from Fiddlers convention//All my family came by to visit us. I am recovering from avarian Cancer. It was great to see my family together at one time. weather great We ate there Thu night Friday night and Sat night different family members came each night......LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION FOR US We communtated with host on phone She was very detailed on what we needed to do b4 we left Very happy RUTH MOUNCE

Quaint Farm House
We enjoyed ourselves very much.
It was a quaint house and the garage was a plus for our motorcyles.
It was 4 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway which was great for us as we enjoyed riding the morocycles.
The only negative was only one shower which was very small.

Forget hotels! 100% better!
Best place we have ever stayed. House had everything we needed. It was just like coming home at the end of the day. We didn't want to leave. The view is awesome.

Wonderful Weekend!
We took a weekend ladies trip this past weekend for our Rook card club and booked this wonderful old home. It was truly like coming home when we arrived. The description noted was extremely accurate and for this particular booking I dealt directly with the owner Becky. She was wonderful and very attentive to our booking, making sure I had received all information prior to arrival. She had restaurant menus available at the house and gave me ideas when we spoke on the phone and she was spot on. I had been in the area a couple of times previously with my husband vacationing so we conversed about some places that my husband and I had visited. I highly recommend "Granny's". It has a warm welcoming atmosphere. If the walls could talk and tell the tales of our card playing and laughter, you would be laughing yourself!

Fantastic Family Reunion 2016
This home earns 5 stars because it is a wonderful home place out of history. A well kept older home that reflects a time past but not forgotten. From the minute you walk in you feel at home. This was the first time i tried this type of lodging and has changed the way i will book my travel arrangements.
Hope it is available for my next visit. No hotel/motel can come close. Loved every minute of our stay.

Comfort at Granny's Place
This property was exactly as advertised.
It was a family home at one point in time, and was converted to accommodate rentals.This home looks like your Granny's house, including all of the memories that come along with it.
We had nine people in our party, including several teenaged girls. The home was extremely clean, functional, well-kept, cozy & comfortable, and met all of our needs. We will be staying here again the next time we are in Galax.
It is a beautiful property, located very close to shopping & restaurants.
The only reason I did not give it five stars is because Granny's house is in need of a little updating.

felt right at home
This home was very relaxing and felt like we stepped back in time to visiting grand mom. Everything was clean and roomy, and comfortable. We only slept there at night because we were off during the day, so it met our needs perfectly
