A short (free) ferry ride across the James River from Historic Jamestown and Williamsburg, and only an hours drive to visit the historic sights or shopping in the Capital of Virginia, Richmond. The house is a 2 minute dive to Rt.#460, which connects Suffolk, Va to Petersburg, Va. Take a trip to splash in the Atlantic Ocean , only about an hour drive to visit Virginia Beach to spend a day in the sand, visit the Aquarium, or maybe some shopping. Want to take a day trip to the National Capital, Washington D.C.? It's a two and a half hour trip north and you can be visiting the Historical sites and Museums of the Nation's Capital.
