Description
The Half Shell is a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, centrally air conditioned duplex, located in a peaceful neighborhood, and is surrounded by a large lawn great for outside games. This duplex is located within a few minutes of a town boat dock with easy access for small boats, kayaks or canoes. Spend vacation days sunning and swimming at the ocean while watching the dolphins, pelicans, and gulls, or biking the woodland trails listening and watching for deer or ponies, or climbing to the top of the lighthouse. Upon Returning from your days' activities enjoy the outside hot/cold enclosed shower with views of the sky and waving pine trees. The Half Shell has a spacious, light and airy Family Room and Dining area that opens onto a large screened porch that is the perfect place to crack crabs, shell shrimp, or even enjoy oysters on the Half Shell. You can fire up the gas grill for steaks, hamburgers, or seafood. After dinner you and your family can enjoy the "Big Game" or family movie on the 32" flat screen, DISH network TV, or connect to the wireless internet.
The Half Shell sleeps 6-8 guests, and the kids will love the first floor bedroom with 2 twin bunks. There is also a half bath, and a well equipped kitchen with pans, dishes, utensils, microwave, coffee maker, blender and much more. On the second floor you can soak in the tub and enjoy the 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, and both bedrooms have overhead fans and open views. A new washing machine and dryer is also provided for your convenience. This home has a NO SMOKING and a NO PETS POLICY. We ask that you leave the home in a neat and tidy condition. Please bring your own linens (2 Queen, 1 Double, 2 Twin), towels/washcloths, blankets and pillows. We invite your family to spend your Chincoteague Island vacation at the cheerful, comfortable, and relaxing Half Shell.

50% of the rental rate is required when reservation is made.

Payments can be made in the form of personal checks, money orders, cashier checks, or you may pay by credit card. If you choose to pay by credit card there will be a 3% credit card transaction fee added plus a $0.30 invoice fee.
-If you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before your scheduled arrival date, all fees collected will be refunded to you within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
-If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, we will make every attempt to re-rent the property. If we are able to re-rent the property, all fees paid less a $50.00 cancellation fee, will be refunded to you within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
-If we do not re-rent the property, you will be refunded only your security deposit
