Reviewer Comments:
The house is exactly as described. It was very clean and in good condition. A/C was perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet. Also very convenient to everything on the island. Living room furniture could use a bit of an update but no big deal don’t spend most of the time in the house anyway. We spent extra time there since we were there during the tropical storm coming through. Love the beach here. Everybody was social distancing. Everyone was Social distancing In lines where we were. In the grocery stores, takeout lines and anywhere else people need to be practicing it. Not having a dishwasher was no big deal for us. They have a charcoal grill, coals and lighter fluid provided. I haven’t cooked on one of those in a long time but boy the food was excellent that we made on it. Enjoyed the screened in porch in the evenings. Management answered a few questions we did have quickly and completely. I would recommend this property to friends or relatives. It was just so good to get away and enjoy the beach here after being cooped up in the house for months. We actually canceled a different beach location in another state because people were not following rules. But again here everybody was respecting each other.

The rental was so nice. We each had our own space but also were able to eat dinner together and reminisce. We enjoyed or stay and it was so easy to book and pick up the keys!

We were very pleased with the Blue Pearl Cottage on Chincoteague Island. The rooms were spacious and the place was well kept. The screened in porch was comfortable. Make sure you bring plenty of bug spray as the mosquitoes are quite plentiful at this location.

Someone should have told me there was no DW or garbage disposal.

We enjoyed our second vacation in Chincoteague. Other than the decor being somewhat dated, the house was very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. The location of the house was very convenient to everything Chincoteague Island has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was great and very clean. My only suggestion would be to take new pictures. The house looked much better in person than it did on the website.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Pearl Cottage! We have been to Chincoteague before, but the owner of the home has a wonderful handwritten book of suggestions in town for restaurants, shops and sightseeing places.
The house was a perfect size for my husband, myself and our two small children (1 and 5). The quiet location was PERFECT for the afternoons when our youngest daughter napped and the rest of us relaxed in the screened in porch and read our books. There are so many birds to watch in the backyard and there are bird books in the house so you can look up what you are looking at!
The home itself is wonderfully decorated and stocked with kitchen necessities. The home is close to everything and the neighborhood was really quiet. My 5 year old loved pointing out the lighthouse every time we would leave the driveway!
I found both the rental agency and the home owner wonderful to work with.
There is no Wifi, which I thought might bother me, but in fact it was a blessing to truly "unplug" for a week!
We are hoping to return in the fall when maybe the mosquitos aren't so intense! :)
