Description
We would love to welcome your family to our home in Chincoteague. Blue Skies delivers more than a hope for wonderful weather. It is a home originally built by a long-standing family from Chincoteague and more recently redone to accommodate more modern needs.
WiFi, smart TV, cable, washer and dryer and ironing board. The home sleeps seven to eight. There is a master suite with a queen size bed, soaking tub and walk in shower for those active days kayaking or paddle boarding.
A second full bath with a tub is located near the second bedroom. For sandy days at the beach you might enjoy the outdoor shower with quick entrance to the house. The second bedroom provides two twin beds. The sectional couch provides room for two adults or three children and a five-inch foam twin mattress pad can be added to any room.
Your furry members will enjoy a climate-controlled indoor/outdoor kennel, a dog bed and a fenced yard for fresh air. One dog crate in the living area is provided. Up to two dogs will be allowed each less than 100 pounds.
Cooking is a delight with top of the line appliances, microwave, steam pot, waffle maker, crock pot, mixer, toaster, blender, coffee pot, lots of dishes, complete set of pots, knives and utensils. The table opens up to accommodate everyone. The living room and the enclosed sun porch provide two areas to gather. The home is located 0.7 miles from Memorial Park and the Fireman’s carnival is 1.2 miles away. In season take the evening trolley from Memorial Park for any evening spot on the island.

Payments can be made in the form of personal checks, money orders, cashier checks, or you may pay by credit card. If you choose to pay by credit card there will be a 3% credit card transaction fee added plus a $0.30 invoice fee.
* No refunds will be made due to inclement weather. The only exception to this policy is mandatory evacuation of Chincoteague Island. In the event of a mandatory evacuation of Chincoteague, you will be refunded the rental amount charged for the actual days the evacuation is in force.
*If you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before your scheduled arrival date, all fees collected will be refunded to you within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
*If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, we will make every attempt to re-rent the property. If we are able to re-rent the property, all fees paid less a $50.00 cancellation fee, will be refunded to you within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
*If we do not re-rent the property, you will be refunded only your damage deposit.
*If it is necessary for us to cancel your reservation due to late payment of rental fees, you will be refunded only your damage deposit.
*If you are a “no show”, you will be refunded only your damage deposit.

Lovely home, perfect for our family
This rental was absolutely amazing, our 3 kids and dog loved our stay here in Chincoteague! The home is one of the dog-friendliest I have ever seen, and we loved having our dog Toby stay here with us. The house is very nice inside, newly renovated and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed as well! Would highly recommend this house to anyone :)

Perfect for bringing fido to the beach
House was great, had everything you needed for kitchen and entertainment. Firepit wasn't listed as an anemity, but was nice to have at night. The dog kennel situation was absolutely perfect. He loved being able to go in and out as he pleased and I loved not having to worry about him making a mess in a strange environment. The house had some strange plumbing issues, when the toilets were flushed you could hear the water in the tub drain and some of the faucets were backwards for hot VS cold water. There are a ton of steps throughout the property, so be ready to get a workout in. The master bedroom is on a separate floor from the other room, so might not be best for very young children, as you cannot hear much between floors. Overall I loved the property and it was perfect for what I was looking for and would rent the place again.
