Description
This veteran-owned cottage is sure to make you feel right at home on our cozy island. There's room for the entire family with 3 bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Full, 2 Twin Beds), and two full baths. This home features an open floor plan kitchen and family room complete with TVs in every room. We are within walking distance to Memorial Park with its public boat ramp, playground, and is where everyone gathers to watch our World Famous Pony Swim.
Also, we are only a short walk to our Fireman's Carnival Grounds. Only a 3 mile drive to the Assateague Island Wildlife Refuge (home of the wild ponies), and National Seashore to enjoy the pristine beaches and Soak in Vitamin Sea! After a day at the beach, come home to a refreshing outdoor shower and a picnic on the outdoor picnic table. Enjoy your evening snuggled up on the couch watching and movie, reading a good book, or you may choose to relax and unwind on the front porch.
After experiencing a few days at the beach and Chincoteague's small town southern charm along with the abundance of family fun activities, you'll be sure to take home some much needed Vitamin Sea!

Maximum Occupancy for this home is six (6) people & must not be exceeded.
No Pets allowed in the home, on the grounds, or at the Wildlife Refuge.
50% of the rental rate is required when reservation is made.
The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

* No refunds will be made due to inclement weather. The only exception to this policy is mandatory evacuation of Chincoteague Island. In the event of a mandatory evacuation of Chincoteague, you will be refunded the rental amount charged for the actual days the evacuation is in force.
*If you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before your scheduled arrival date, all fees collected will be refunded to you within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
*If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, we will make every attempt to re-rent the property. If we are able to re-rent the property, all fees paid less a $50.00 cancellation fee, will be refunded to you within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
*If we do not re-rent the property, you will be refunded only your damage deposit.
*If it is necessary for us to cancel your reservation due to late payment of rental fees, you will be refunded only your damage deposit.
*If you are a “no show”, you will be refunded only your damage deposit.

Vitamin Sea rental

Small Town Beach Paradise
We've been coming to the island since we were kids and decided to bring our two year old this summer. This cottage is so adorable and the owner was so sweet and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend and we will be back!!!

Wonderful property
Our family recently stayed at the vitamin sea cottage.. what a wonderful property. Everything was brand new and the check in process and communication with the property owner was ideal. Great location as it is located minutes away from the main area of chincoteague and moments from the main entrance to Assateague. We highly recommend this property to anyone with families.

Review of our stay at Vitamin Sea
We had a great weekend in your beautiful home. We do have a couple of suggestions to make future stats even better:
More seating in the living area( maybe add a chair where the little corner chest is)
If you move the tv to the opposite wall there would be more room when you enter the house.
Another concern was at least twice someone hit their head on the floating shelf in living area.
Another addition would be nightstands by the beds.
There are many more positives:

What a gem!
This little beauty is the prefect “beach house” for your stay on the island. The house is small but offers a great layout with plenty of room for the whole family. We can’t wait to come back again and again!

Beautiful Cottage
This cottage is beautiful, thoughtfully decorated and very clean! Communication with owners was easy and helpful. Small details were much appreciated (chip clips, a note pad/pen, and an organized pocket folder with answers to any questions :) We were heading out to buy a boogie board when we located one in a closet which made my daughter very happy! Thank you for a very nice weekend!
