Located a short 1 block to the beautiful Cape Charles town beach, this home offers 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, office, 2 dining areas, a spacious modern kitchen with plenty of prep area, a convenient laundry room off the kitchen and both side and back doors for convenience.The second level offers 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths. The third level is a true hideaway. Great for kids but also wonderful for a parents retreat. Spacious and private.
Sit on the covered wrap around porch in comfortable rocking chairs and enjoy people watching, catching up on a good book or a midday nap. When your rested from a hard day at the beach, walk the two blocks into town for restaurants, shopping, homemade ice cream (so good!) and watching the sun set over the Bay. We celebrate sunsets, as one is more beautiful than the next.
Cape Charles is golf cart friendly. Leave your car at the house and explore the town and Bay-Creek from your golf cart rental.
From chartering a boat, to taking a guided kayak tour, horseback riding, winery tours, eco tours or antiquing, you'll remember this vacation for a long time.
The Cape Charles Beach is perfect for young families. Never crowded, no big waves, shallow water close in to shore. The fishing pier is free with fishing gear rentals available in town. Jet ski rentals at the Town Harbor. Great shops and restaurants on the main street one block away. Kiptopeke State Park with a great beach, fishing pier, boat ramps and nature trails only 6 miles away and near the Eastern Shore of Virginia Nation Wildlife Refuge also with trails and bird watching.
Only 1.5 hours north is Chincoteague and the Assateague National Seashore where wild ponies (Misty of Chincoteague) roam.
If you want to spend a day or two with day trips, the Virginia Beach ocean front is a little over 1 hour away with loads of shops and nightlife. Williamsburg and Busch Gardens is 80 miles and the Virginia Aquarium is about 70 minutes away.
Golf: World class Bay Creek golf courses are just 5 minutes away. An hour away in Virginia Beach are numerous other golf courses.
