Description

This fully restored 1909 Queen Anne/Victorian cottage, located at the eastern edge of the Historic District on Main Street, is the ideal place to stay while visiting beautiful Abingdon, Virginia.

It is within easy walking of five restaurants, Zazzy'Z Coffeehouse, the Barter Theatre, the Virginia Creeper Trail, the Martha Washington Inn, and Abingdon's antique shops.

The cottage has new two bathrooms, one with an enclosed shower and one with an original claw-foot bath tub. The restored kitchen has been fully equipped with all new appliances and cooking utensils.

As an additional feature, the cottage is decorated throughout with original works of art created by some of Southwest Virginia's talented artists.

A locked barn on the property is available for bicycle storage. There is broadband wireless internet throughout the cottage.

Come and relax at Summers Cottage. Sit on the front porch or screened-in back porch and enjoy small town pleasures.

The rates are bases on two guests - there is an additional charge for more than two guests. Bristol Race Week is 1,500 for 4 adults. Monday through Monday Stay. Please call about Monthly rates.

There are several nice kennels in the area, and we will be glad to make arrangements if needed for pets. Due to concern for guests with allergies we cannot allow pets inside the cottage.

Smoking is not permitted in the cottage, but smoking is permitted on the screened- in back porch.

Guests will be charged at replacement cost for missing items or damage beyond normal wear and tear.
