Our tiny houses are a miniature log cabins inside and parked at the edge of licensed campground.
We always stock our tiny houses with all bed linens, bathroom towels, soap, and toilet paper. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, a Our tiny houses are a miniature log cabins inside and parked at the edge of licensed campground.
We always stock our tiny houses with all bed linens, bathroom towels, soap, and toilet paper. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, and a mini refrigerator/freezer. We do supply 1 pot and 1 pan, disposable dishes, utensils, cups, and coffee.
There is a television but no satellite or cable TV. Feel free to bring your own DVD player, games, etc. and cords as we do not supply cords for devices. Outside, you have your own picnic table and fire ring. You can cook on the fire ring and later push aside the grate to sit around the fire. Firewood is for sale as well. The entire house is yours!

Approximately 4 minutes from the New River & 15 minutes from Summersville Lake & the Gauley River. Minutes away from all National Parks, rafting, zip lines, and activity companies. We can accommodate up to 44 people in our cabins plus another 20 at our very nearby location.

One mile south of Rt. 60. We address in Hico but located in Fayetteville. Please ask us for an exact address (for a better map than in Airbnb) and for directions.
Within 15 minutes of: all activities (rafting, ziplines, kayaking,etc) rock climbing, nearby National Parks, The Gauley River, Summersville Lake, all hiking and biking trails as well. Also 20 minutes from the new Boy Scout Camp - Bechtel Reserve You can park right next to the tiny houses. There is no public transportation nearby. The closest would be about 60 miles away.
Please note that our tiny houses are located in New River Gorge Campground/RV park off to one side. There is grass around the tiny houses and the summer rains can bring little local bugs at times inside and outside of the tiny houses. Depending on how much the door is left open once someone arrives. We do spray however, but we will not overwhelm you with the smell of bug spray. There are campers and RVs located in the campground which gets busy in warmer weather. If you have any questions about this, please ask us before you book.

About The Owner
My husband Pat and I built the original cabins in 2009 and 3 new ones in 2016 after spending much time in the area. The tiny houses & Airstream are new to us in 2018! We loved the location being 4 miles from the New river and close to all national parks. The Gorge is an awesome site and we hope others enjoy are area as much as we do. Close to white water rafting and rock climbing areas too. We decided to make some of our cabins pet friendly as well!

Lory was super responsive and proactive in making my stay as accommodating as possible. She provided tips about navigating the New River Bridge and it's surrounding area and typically responded very fast whenever I had questions, usually within a day. Will certainly book a stay again!

Wow! Stayed in Tiny Home #13, suuuper comfy bed, cool noise cancelling fan in the bathroom that made sharing the space with friends very pleasant. I was surprised by how advanced and expensive of an air conditioning unit they had in the tiny home, absolutely genius. All around FANTASTIC experience. Would stay again in a heart beat, Lory is a sweetheart! Thanks again Lory and Patrick!

The house is just as pictured. Extremely close to where we needed to be for white water rafting. There was a couple insects with us in the home when we first got there but there also was a beautiful deer right by our picnic table on our way to dinner! The mattress is a little thin but after a day of rafting we slept just fine. A good place to rest between two adventure packed days!
