Riverwalk Cabin is a private cabin that overlooks the Virginia Creeper Trail and South Fork of the Holston River in Abingdon, Virginia. Our custom built log cabin has an open floor plan and casual decor. The master bedroom, bathroom with a shower, and the washing machine and clothes dryer are conveniently located downstairs for the guest that enjoys one level convenience. There are two twin daybeds with two pullout beds and a bathroom with a tub upstairs. The covered front porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature in our rocking chairs or porch swing.
Less than a block, Alvarado Station offers easy access to Holston River for floating, kayaking, or river walking.
For bike riders or those who want to stroll, the cabin offers instant access to the Virginia Creeper. Go left out of the cabin and you'll reach Abingdon in 8.4 miles. Go right out of the cabin and you'll reach Damascus in 8 miles.
Abingdon is a friendly, historic and charming town that allows visitors to feel as though they have stepped back in time.
The Riverwalk Cabin is the ideal place to rest, relax, and recharge!

Rental Rules/Contract
1. Check in time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 10:30 am.
2. The full amount of the rent, including a 10.3% tax and the cleaning fee, is due to secure the reservation.
3. This property requires a two night minimum stay.
4. Cabin rental accommodates 4 people. There are extra beds in the second bedroom for a maximum of 6 people. ($15 extra)
5. Rates: $150 per night (2 night minimum stay).
6. Cleaning fee: $125 per stay.
7. A full-refund will be given with a cancellation 30 days prior to check-in date; a half-refund will be given with a cancellation 14 days prior to check-in date; thereafter, no refunds will be given.
8. Refunds are not warranted for early departure, weather, or weather related incidents (power outages).
9. Guests agree to pay any damages, loss, or breakage done to the premises during the guest’s stay.
10. The guest agrees to hold harmless and indemnify 4 Bradford Long, LLC (Riverwalk Cabin) and its owners from any loss, damage, or injury as a result of any claims, law suits, and demands that may arise from the occupancy of the property. This includes all occupants, guest, guest invitees, or personal property.
11. Renters agree to abide by the following house rules:
---No pets.
---Smoking only on the outside of the cabin.
---Only flush toilet paper to maintain the septic system.
---No parties or large gatherings.
Upon departure:
---Place trash in outside trash can. Please place brick on top.
---Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it.
---Put all sheets and towels in the downstairs bathroom.
---Turn thermostat to 78* in the summer and 58* in the winter.
---Lock cabin.
---Check out on time.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, guests will need to bring their own pillows and blankets. Sheets and towels will be provided.

Beautiful cabin on the river and the Virginia Creeper Trail. Very clean and comfortable. No WiFi and limited cell phone service, but I loved being forced to disconnect from my devices for a few days. Lovely!

Beautiful setting in the woods of the Appalachian Highlands area of Virginia. The Virginia Creeper Trail passes right in front of the property so lace up your shoes or pump your bike tires and enjoy a very lovely part of the Abingdon VA area. Don't forget to visit the Abingdon Vineyard and Winery just up the road for a taste of very nice Virginia grown wines. The cabin is very new and well kept with a nicely appointed kitchen and a great deck to enjoy the location way back in the woods. Vanessa also has an extensive book of area attractions at the cabin so refer to that for other activities available.

This house was right on the Creeper trail! It was spotlessly clean! It was a great location, close to acwinery, and about halfway between Abingdon and Damascus. We will definitely stay again! Vanessa was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had!

The cabin was a perfect stay for our family. It is located right off the Creeper Trail but still feels very private. Vanessa was a great host and very communicative through the whole process. Hoping to stay here again in the future!
