Upper deck is an extended living area since it goes directly out from the living room & is directly over the water.
Upper deck has a dining table & large sectional sofa along with a bistro set. Enjoy the sunsets from this beautiful deck!
Raining? No worries, go down to the covered bottom deck which is part of the dock & enjoy the rain! This house is centrally located on the lake by boat or car.
This is not your average rental property! It is equipped & furnished like a home - not a rental property.
This home is managed & maintained by the owners which visit the property at least every 2 weeks to make sure it is properly equipped & organized! Come visit our Dream Come True!

About The Owner
Judy & David have owned Dream since 2007. They bought the home from the original homeowner/builder. There has been many improvements to the home since 2007. Each year a project is done to make the home even better. The owners visit the home religiously to make sure it is clean, organized & fully equipped - even when it is booked back to back. They live in Greensboro NC so are able to visit the house often even just for the day. In the off season, you can find them at Dream cleaning extensively, making improvements and relaxing in their beautiful home!

Family Christmas 2020
We needed a place mid-way between where we live & where my parents live in order to be able to celebrate Christmas as a family as we have done for more than two decades. Judy was fantastic to work with in the lead up to the holiday. Her lake home was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy being together as a family. It is a beautiful home as well as being comfortable and well laid out. We had a wonderful time and hope to be able to return in warmer weather to enjoy the lake.

Perfect getaway
This property couldn’t have been better. The house was clean, comfortable, and centrally located to what we were interested in doing. We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals over the years, and What makes this one of our favorite places is the extras that Judy provides. From coffee and creamer to all of the fun activities in the house for a rainy day, there couldn’t be a better rental.

Wonderful!!
Dream Come True is a wonderful home right on the water making the views from the house really special including exceptional sunset views. The updated, well equipped kitchen was a real plus since we did A LOT of cooking including our Thanksgiving feast. The master suite is really luxurious and all the bathrooms are beautifully updated. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. She answered all our questions, made great suggestions and helped us find resources available in the off-season. It was an all around great experience.

Amazing Views and House
Dream Come True was a wonderful property. The house was super clean, beds were comfortable, and had a great kitchen with all the amenities our family of 4 + dog could ever need. While mother nature brought historic flooding to Smith Mountain Lake the weekend we happened to be there, we still enjoyed our fall getaway. Jude, the owner, was very communicative during our stay, which is much appreciated. The top deck was our favorite spot and the sunset views were beautiful. And even with high water levels, we got out on the kayaks to enjoy the lake. Thanks for a great house/location! We wouldn't hesitate to rent again!

Beautiful home
We loved our stay at Dream Come True. The architecture of this home is very beautiful. The Master Bedroom & bath is gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable. Every room is unique and tastefully decorated. The view of the lake from the deck is breathtaking. The only complaint we have is that we didn't stay longer. Thank you Judy for being an amazing host.

Perfection!
How do you accurately describe the perfect vacation rental?
Three words - Dream Come True!
We spent a week with our family here and enjoyed every detail of this immaculate rental. Our two labs loved hanging out on the deck watching lake!
The kitchen is newly remodeled and has all the tools and small appliances to whip up any meal desired!
Location is wonderful! The area on SML is quite.
Many books, magazines, chess, poker table and billiards plus a ton of movies for a rainy day.
We are already booking next year’s lake vacation!

Incredible house!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. Every amenity you could ever need or want was available for use. The kitchen was fully stocked and the pool table/ping pong table was a huge hit with everyone. We loved relaxing on the deck at sunset waiting for the ice cream boat to come by! The location is ideal as it's close to Bridgewater marina, as well as several restaurants/grocery stores. The local wineries were right around the corner too! Judy, the owner, is amazing to work with and we would highly recommend her house!

Great location, lovely home
We stayed for a long weekend in mid-October. It’s a wonderful time to be at the lake - very quiet and serene. The home is (literally) on the water and the deck was the most popular spot in the whole house. Judy provided us with plenty of info, including boat rentals, and that was a huge highlight for all. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need and more. All in all, a lovely home at a beautiful location.

The property is right on the lake with some great views, and the home has plenty of activities/games for everyone. Was very clean and Judy was always willing to help and answer questions. Overall, we had an awesome time.

Amazing for humans and canines alike, in and out of the water!
Having stayed at many houses at Smith Mountain Lake, "Dream Come True!" was exceptionally clean, completely stocked with amenities, and lovingly maintained. And we are clean freaks! Not a speck of dust or dog hair was found anywhere. You have an exceptional home Judy! Being able to bring our two dogs to enjoy the comfort, views, and wide water with us was what made our "dream come true" on this vacation because our dogs are family. Being able to enjoy the beautiful setting with your dogs inside the house, on the dock (which is gated/fenced), or in the spacious fenced-in dog yard is extremely unique and we found it to be perfect for our family. We all can't wait to visit again soon now that we've found our home away from home!
