This lovely and affordable 3 bedroom Cape Cod home is within walking distance of downtown Chincoteague and has 2 full baths, sleeps 6 people, and is very clean and comfortable.
The house is well maintained and supplied with all the necessary amenities. The neighborhood is very quiet; you can sit out front in the screen porch or relax in the back yard while watching the many birds, ducks, and squirrels.
The house is suitable for both the young and the old. There are lots of scheduled events throughout the year - make sure you visit the Chamber of Commerce for brochures on things to do on the island and surrounding areas.
The island provides many attractions with Assateague Wildlife Refuge just across the bridge; it's a bird watchers paradise and also where the wild ponies live. Great for hikers and bike riding or rent scooters; there are many trails and miles of beaches to explore.
There are plenty of water activities - boating, fishing, crabbing, clamming, jet skis, water tours, etc. - so bring your own toys or you can rent whatever you need.

Just loved it!
We stayed at this house last week while we were readying our house on Chincoteague for a Closing Sale. We spent three days working very hard, packing up and getting our furniture & household goods moved into storage one day. Then painting and cleaning the next.
It was great to come to this house at the end of the day and just relax. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and how quiet the neighborhood is. I think we sat on the porch at least two hours each night.
The house is extremely clean and the decorations are perfect. The lounging chairs in the living room were extremely comfortable. I sat there and did work on my computer because the house has full WiFi. We both enjoyed the well stocked kitchen (it had everything).
We highly recommend this house for couples or a family. It really is a great stay.
